​Max Day

​After studying violin since age four, Max is happy to be performing Bach's second violin concerto as a soloist with the Nanaimo Chamber Orchestra, which he has been a member of since 2018. Max currently studies violin with Nick Ross and has played both classical violin and fiddle music, performing in concerts from Victoria to Courtenay with the fiddle group, Fiddelium. He has concentrated on classical music over the past several years, and has also participated in both local and provincial music festivals. When not playing violin, Max can be found mountain biking, skiing or enjoying the outdoors. This coming September, Max looks forward to studying Engineering in Vancouver at UBC and hopes to continue playing with orchestras while at University.
